Can I have a free trial?

There is no need for a free trial because the site's free version allows you to access the main tools with some limitations. For example, the Stock Screener provides only a partial set of results. The free version helps you understand how everything works.

What is a stock screener?

A stock screener is a tool that filters thousands of stocks based on criteria you define, such as price, volume, P/E ratio, moving averages, or chart patterns. It returns only the stocks that match your criteria, saving traders hours of manual research by narrowing down the vast number of stocks to a focused shortlist.

What's the difference between a stock screener and a stock scanner?

The terms "screener" and "scanner" are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct meanings. A "scanner" typically refers to real-time analysis during market hours aimed at identifying short-term trading opportunities. In contrast, a "screener" generally uses end-of-day data and is more suited for swing or longer-term position trading. ScreenAlyze accommodates both approaches, supporting intraday, daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes.

Who can view user-generated data? What is the level of security and privacy?

All personal data and user-generated content on the site are encrypted and stored on secure servers within a protected data center. The data transfer between your device and the servers is secured by the SSL encryption protocol. Once you secure your account with a password, no one, including company employees, will be able to access it.

Do users retain rights over the data they create on the site?

Yes, users retain full rights to all data they generate on the site, including screening criteria, strategy parameters, and backtest results. You maintain ownership of your content.

What are the limits of the free version?

The free version shows the first page of results for every screen with the default sorting. Column sorting and pagination are Pro features. Pro members also receive results with no delays.

Which exchanges and markets are covered?

All ready-made screens cover common stocks listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges in the USA. Data is updated every trading day after the market close.

How do I log in after purchasing?

After your Stripe payment is completed, your account is created automatically using the email address you entered at checkout, and your login details are emailed to you. Use them on the Log In page. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us.

Is the screener investment advice?

No. The screener is an informational tool. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. See our Disclaimer.
